Beacon Patch 1.5A Mechanical Demise


Patch 1.5A is released, Mechanical Demise! Prism's synthetic security teams initiate severe countermeasures against the escaped specimens, and the planet's population at large.

New Enemies

  • Tesla Droid MK1 Death Variant
    • With its legs blown off, the torso of the MK1 droid attempts to charge at you to get in melee range
  • Pyro Droid MK2 Death Variant Update
    • The Pyro MK2 running torso now blows up into a flame wave when it successfully melees you
  • Tesla Droid MK2 Death Variant Update
    • The Tesla Droid MK2 torso now releases up to 3 tesla beams at nearby targets when it is killed

New Traps

  • Tesla Barrel Added
    • Contains tesla energy that if releases up to 3 tesla beams at nearby targets when it is killed
  • Portable Holoshield Added
    • Prisms holoshield technology used with a small portable mechanism, used to block choke points from passage until the holo barriers are popped
  • DNA Scanner
    • Used in Prism fort choke points, the DNA scanner checks your genetic makeup and calls in Prism reinforcements if the scan isn’t Prism dominant
  • Shipping Containers updated
    • Extra randomizations added to Prism Shipping Containers, including DNA Caches and Tinkered Munitions left behind by a past Freja stuck in the container

New Levels

  • 4 new Level 3 Intro tiles added, including a DNA Scanner choke point
  • New Level 3 Landmark, the Prism Hydro Reactor
    • Explore the Hydro Reactor, drain the center platform, and activate the transformer to power the elevator platform’s light bridge
  • New Level 3 Landmark, the Prism Containment Reactor
    • Explore the Containment Reactor, dodge Prism’s fortress defenses, and activate the transformer to power the elevator platform’s light bridge
  • Solus infested event variants added to all Level 3 transformer events
  • New Level 3 Cap Tiles added

Levels

  • More Watchtower key spawns added to Act 1 levels
  • More Detonator spawns added to Act 1 levels
  • Various minor level updates and fixes
  • Updated landslide ramp to fix navmesh not generating on it sometimes

Excavation Droid Boss

  • Updated death sequence
  • Now drops openable chest on death that gives a piece of Act 1 Prism loot
  • Updated elevator control panel to be more obvious once activated

Map

  • Landmark Waypoints removed
  • Bonus loot waypoint icons added to extra equipment blocked behind puzzles (Purple Cache)
  • Tinkered Stockpile waypoints added to weapon variant spawns left behind by past Frejas (Purple Stockpile)
  • Added Grenade Stockpile waypoint to grenade box

Traps/Travel

  • Jammed shipping conveyor squish trap updated to be a bit easier to dodge through
  • Tesla Barrel, Pyro Barrel, and Holo Barrier randomizers added to Act 1 Prism trap fortresses
  • Flauros Lava Platforms have a rune that flickers in at the top/bottom now, and the float speed has been increased to make traveling on them quicker

Fixes

  • Fixed level 3 elevator transition being semi-broken
  • Fixed Solus Mega Stomach bottom secret platform being un-reachable
  • Fixed Paramount DNA not being re-colored to match faction
  • Fixed music missing in Level 4
  • Fixed succulent tree being difficult to drop fruit from on one trunk
